Yentha Vaadu Gaani Movie Review

Story:

The film opens with a mystery man Satya Dev (Ajith) meeting Anushka in a flight and later saves her from goons who wants to kidnap her. Movie shifts to flashback mode here - Satya Dev, an undercover cop, befriends Gangster Victor (Arun Vijay) in prison to gun down a notorious criminal & his gang. How this mission affected the lives of Satya Dev and Victor? Who is behind Anuhka's kidnap & What's the motto? To know more, Grab the tickets of this stylish entertainer at the theatre nearby.

Artists Performance:

Ajith: As a cop Sathya Dev who goes to any extent for doing his duty, He has delivered his career best performance. Not a surprise, Women just love watching him! Don't miss this movie to know why he is still one of the most handsome heroes down South at the age of 44. He is exceptional in emotional and stylishly shot action sequences.

Arun Vijay is a revelation and at times he even dominates Ajith. This Youngster will have a bright future ahead for sure.

Trisha looks extremely beautiful and her matured romance with Ajith is worth watching. Anushka's role wasn't etched well and she looks a bit jaded. Baby Anikha as Ajith's Daughter is pretty good.

Plus Points:

- Ajith's Majestic Screen Presence

- Solid Performances

- Cast & Mouse Game

- Music

- Cinematography

Minus Points:

- Predictable Second Half

Analysis:

Ajith & Gautham Menon make a deadly combo. All you expect from them is a movie which is a blend of romance, action, good songs and stylish presentation. 'Yentha Vaadu Gaanie' doesn't disappoint for sure...!

Harris Jayaraj's musical score is fabulous. Cinematography is top notch. Antony's Editing is crisp, using scissors more effectively for Telugu version paid off. Dialogues are well written. Production Values are commendable.

Gautham Menon choose a new backdrop and the plot is engaging enough. The only drawback is the characters and situation are more or less similar to his previous cop films, making it a predictable fare to some extent. Some Splendid Performances, Technically Sound Outcome and Underlying Emotional Current are the positives. It's a film you can invest your time & money this Weekend!

Box Office: 'Yentha Vaadu Gaanie' received a big release and the film is running in around 100 screens in Nizam alone. Morning Shows have begun on a dull note on Day 1 but the positive word-of-mouth could help the revenues pick up by the end of the day. It might collect a decent share in the opening weekend and have chances of turning into a profitable venture.

Verdict: Give It A Watch!
