Subramanyam For Sale Movie Review

Subramanyan (Sai Dharam Tej) who does odd job and doesn't mind helping people in trouble for earning dollars in USA comes to the rescue of Seetha (Regina) when it matters the most. This eventually leads to a situation forcing Subbu to act as Seetha's Husband. Were they able to convince the Two Families what prompted them to act as Life Partners? Did they end up becoming real-life Couple?

Artists Performance:

Sai Dharam Tej: Energy, Mannerisms & Dancing Skills are his biggest strengths. He reminds Chiranjeevi in the Guvva Gorinka song shot in Grand Canyon and imitates Pawan Kalyan is few scenes. Sai goes overboard at times and has to improve his ability to emote in emotional scenes.

Regina Cassandra: She is just perfect for the role of Seetha and matched the energy levels of Sai Dharam Tej in the dance numbers.

After 'SOS', Adah Sharma is yet again seen in a role without much prominence. Brahmanandam, Fish Venkat and Prabhas Seenu evokes laughter in few sequences. Rao Ramesh is an asset to the movie. Tejaswi is impressive. Ajay is just okay. Naresh and Jhansi as Hero's Parents are fine. Suman, Nagababu and Others doesn't have much to do!

Plus Points:

- Sai Dharam Tej

- Regina's Performance

- Music & Songs Picturization

- Entertainment Values

Minus Points:

- Emotional Scenes in Climax

Harish Shankar who attained a Star Image with 'Gabbar Singh' choose to work with an Upcoming Hero after 'Ramayya Vastavayya' debacle. Was it a clever decision & Has he learnt anything from his last failure ?

Music by Mickey J Meyer is pretty good. While his songs were full of energy, Background Score is in sync with the movie. Camera Work by Ram Prasad is first rate. Dialogues pack a punch. Editing is inconsistent. Production Values are appreciable.

'Subrahmanyan For Sale' have traces of Chiru's films 'Mogudu Kavali' and 'Bavagaru Bagunnara'. The difference between the new product and those old hits is the Characterization of Hero. Lead Pair, Songs, Dialogues & Entertainment are the positives. Except some poor characterizations and the climax sequence, There is nothing much to complain in the movie and it might attain a hit tag if audience ignore the elements such as age-old story & predictable screenplay.

Box Office: 'Subramanyam For Sale' released in 450-plus screens in AP & Nizam alone. Openings could be impressive because of the huge release, good pre-release buzz and Mega fan base. Entertainment Values in the movie could help it end up as a no loss-no gain Project.

Verdict: Decent Entertainer!
