Singham 123 Movie Review
Singham (Sampoornesh Babu) is a powerful cop with an impressive track record. He get transferred to Singarayakonda for putting an end to anti-social element Lingam (Bhavani). Singham takes up a mission to eliminate the baddies and he gets to know about his past in the process. In what way Singham was connected to Singarayakonda and what has he done upon knowing about shocking facts behind the tragedy that struck his family forms the rest of the story.
Sampoornesh Babu doesn't possess any qualities of a Hero but still he carved a niche for himself with his funny antics. He has got the ability to make people burst out laughing with the kind of spoofs he does. Sanam Prasad is fine as the lady love of Singham. Prithivi makes an impression. Bhavani does a decent job as the main villain.
- Sampoornesh Babu
- Spoofs on the films of Top Stars
- Strictly for Sampoo Fans
Sampoornesh Babu began the 'spoof' genre in TFI with 'Hrudaya Kaleyam' and 'Singham 123' could be treated as the next film in this franchise.
Seshu KMR's Background Score is effective but Songs were a big letdown. Cinematography is decent. Dialogues are funny. Stunts has been composed well. Editing is okay. Akshat Ajay Sharma does a decent job as director and he offered what people expects from Sampoo. Production Values of 24 Frames Factory are fine.
'Singham 123' is nothing but taking potshots at high-voltage cop dramas and successful films released in the past decade. It's a film made keeping in mind the section of people who enjoyed Sampoo's launch pad 'Hrudaya Kaleyam'. People who have time for Sampoo's spoofs could watch it for sure and the rest could ignore it.
Box Office: 'Singham 123' received a decent screen count and simultaneous web screening is a clever move by the makers. Surprisingly, The film opened to packed houses in several A Centres and the openings could be better than expectations.
Verdict: Its Sampoo's Roar!
