Courier Boy Kalyan Movie Review
PK (Nithin), a courier boy, falls in love with Kavya (Yami Gautam) who works as a sales girl. Things go wrong when PK gets hold of a package which could spoil Ashutosh Rana's decade long research. Since then, Associates of Ashutosh Rana follow PK to recover the Package. Finally, PK comes to know about the untold secret about the package. How does he find a solution to the big mess?
Nithin: He looks very handsome and gives a restrained performance. He is equally impressive in romantic & action sequences.
Yami Gautham: She leaves a mark of her own during the coarse of the movie. The romantic track between the lead pair is strictly okay but nothing great.
Ashutosh Rana does a good job in a negative role. Nassar, Harshavardhan, Surekha Vani, Satyam Rajesh, Ravi Prakash and Surya have done justice to their roles.
- Songs & BGM
Nithin delivered decent to superhit flicks in the past three years. This time he teams up with Gautham Menon's Production 'Photon Kathas' for a romantic thriller under the direction of Prem Sai. How did the combination work?
Sandeep Chowta's Songs & BGM are pretty ordinary. Its the placement of songs which hamper the flow of the film and the viewers gets the feeling they were completely unnecessary. Cinematography is one of the highlights of the movie. Even though the run time was just 104 minutes, We feel Editing could have been more crisp and removing couple of songs could have been a good idea. Production Values aren't appreciable.
'Courier Boy Kalyan' falls flat and lack of entertainment factor is the major reason. Director Prem Sai's Writing should be blamed in the first place. He spoiled the fun with lengthy romantic track and too many songs. Watch 'CBK' only if there is nothing worthy to do!
Box Office: The pre-release buzz around 'Courier Boy Kalyan' isn't impressive and the reason behind it is the delayed release. Openings could only be decent inspite of Vinayaka Chaturthi and the BO prospects appear poor even in A Centres.
Verdict: Tad Too Boring!
